After I completed her book, I began creating pages about my children. And while I loved documenting and preserving our stories, I was painfully slow at paper scrapping. It took me so very long to commit to a design and actually adhere the products to the page. I would play forever. When I discovered digital scrapbooking, I found the perfect solution for me. I loved the freedom and flexibility of being able to arrange and rearrange, of trying different papers and embellishments and playing with photo treatments and typography. And as I was doing my journaling and title work on the computer anyway, it was the perfect fit. I have never looked back!
Where do you get your inspiration from? Everywhere. Magazines, billboards, greeting cards, TV commercials, web pages, etc. But I think most of my inspiration comes from the layouts of other scrappers. I love browsing galleries and tapping into the creativity of others.
How do you describe your style? Simple, clean, sometimes graphic. And I love to play with typography.
What do you do for a living? I'm a stay at home mom to three amazing little boys.
Favorite scrap item to use on a page? I'm definitely a minimalist so I don't tend to use a lot of embellishments but I love playing with brushes!
Fave ErinInk supply? Without question, Erin's templates. I'm primarily an 8.5 x 11 scrapper but have recently been scrapping 12 x 12 pages as well. Erin's templates are beautifully designed and give me a great starting point.
What is your favorite page?
PC or Mac? Mac. I can't imagine my life without it!
One thing on your bucket list? Gosh, there are so many. I've always wanted to see the Grand Canyon. My hubby and I plan to take the boys once they are a little older.
What do you listen to, munch on, etc while you scrap? I usually just sip on water in a quiet room. Now that I see that written down, it sounds pretty boring!
Fave scrapbooking tool? Photoshop, most definitely!
What camera do you shoot with? A Canon 40D and I love it.
