- Using Photoshop and your digital papers, print the fabric designs of your choice onto your printable cotton fabric sheets. To save on the amount of fabric sheets used, I designed my Photoshop document with 2 inch strips of digital papers, instead of printing full sheets of one print—however that’s not to say that you won’t find a number of uses for the left over fabric if you choose to print full sheets of each print you wish to use.
- Print your flair pieces onto your white cardstock and cut/punch them out. I sized mine to ¾” then cut or punch circles the same size out of chipboard or stabilized felt.
- Adhere your printed flair to your chipboard/felt circles for stability and allow them to dry.
- Apply a generous layer of Glossy Accents to the top side of your flair, making sure the entire surface is evenly coated. Use a pin to pop any bubbles and allow adequate time for drying, to insure that the “epoxy style” finish is smooth.
- Use your printed fabric to create your handmade embellishments, I have chosen a variety of flowers. Check out The Domestic Diva for tons of FUN fabric flower tutorials!
- Adhere your flair and your embellishments to your magnets using hot glue.
Now your one-of-a-kind magnet set is ready for use on your fridge or message board!
